Double digits. Wow. Evra is getting old... She's is growing so fast and changing so much; it's incredible to watch (though a bit sad to see how fast time is slipping by...)! Happy ten months to our sweet, adorable, wonderful little girl.
Likes:
- Playing with her toys!
- Watching Mason do anything and everything. He always makes her smile!
- Going on runs with Mommy and Daddy.
- Reading books.
- Bath time.
- Eating food!
Dislikes:
- Being tired.
- Not much else. Evra is such a happy little girl!
Evra's favorites:
- Word: Dada. Yes, it's true. This makes Daddy very happy and Mommy a bit (or a lot!) jealous...
- Food: Bananas and cheese.
- Toy: Lovie (not sure this will ever change...). But she is definitely starting to like some of her electronic, interactive toys (like "My First Laptop" from Uncle Nips!).
Skills:
- Babbling and singing all the time!
- Falling backwards (or forwards) on to her back (or tummy), but then getting stuck there...
- Start to be able to stand on her own! (Well, she's holding on to something, but no one else is supporting her!)
- Turning pages in books.
- Drinking from a straw cup!
- Clapping.
- Explosive poops. They are back again. And somehow, Evra manages to poop out the side of her diaper but keep the majority of the actual diaper clean... Now that's talent!
Ten month milestones:
- Saying "dada" for the first time (on Father's Day!). My one wish for Evra's ten month "birthday" was for her to say "mama," and she actually did today! Ok, so she said "mam," but that's pretty darn close! It was awesome!!
- Learning to drink from a straw cup.
- First word: Evra. Yes, Evra's first "real" word is her own name. And we have had at least four independent people tell us that she is saying her name, so Mike and I aren't making this up...
- First fever. Boooooo!! But she was such a trooper!
- First visit to the Great Lakes.
