Today Evra turned seven months. She is growing so fast, and literally changing right before our eyes. Every day is different and exciting. We are so lucky to have such an amazing little girl in our lives! So happy seven months, sweet girl! Thanks for all the amazing memories; looking forward to many, many more!!
Likes:
- Going on runs with Mommy and Daddy.
- Bouncing in her bouncer.
- Playing with all of her toys - and putting them all in her mouth!
- Giggling!! (Literally, the best thing ever...).
- Bath time. One of the best ways to calm down Evra when she is cranky at night...
- Reading books.
- Listening to music.
- Pounding her hands on everything in sight and feeling every different texture.
Dislikes:
- Being tired.
Evra's favorites (a new topic this month!):
- Word: "Yaya" (ok, so not really a word, but at least she is starting to use consonants - though, as Mike says, "Y is a sometimes vowel..."). Mike thinks this is her favorite word because apparently there is a soccer player for Manchester City whose name is Yaya Toure. I doubt it...
- Food: Prunes. And sweet potatoes.
- Toy: Lovie. Without a doubt.
- Family member: Mason.
Skills:
- Sitting up on her own for long periods of time (upwards of 5 minutes, without using her hands, and without a single wobble!).
- Rolling in both directions.
- Grabbing everything in sight (and immediately trying to put it in her mouth!).
- Smiling. And giggling (though she giggles more for Daddy than Mommy...).
Seven month milestones:
- Eating more solid foods. The list continues to grow. In addition to her six month foods (rice cereal, sweet potato, squash, kale, and leeks), Evra has now also had peas, carrots, prunes, peaches, apples, broccoli, edamame, chickpeas, strawberries, bananas, cauliflower, and pears. Mommy and Daddy have gotten good at mixing random flavors and trying to convince Evra to eat it... She seems to tolerate the foods, but really doesn't show a lot of interest.
- Graduated to a "big girl" stroller.
- Moving on to size 3 diapers.
- Sitting up on her own.

By the way, Daddy picked out Evra's outfit today...
