Happy two month, Evra!! (11.10.14)

It's hard to believe that two months have already flown by, but our little Evra (who is not quite as little anymore...) is two months today!  Here are some changes/developments over the past month:

Likes:
- Eating.
- Sleeping (though not as much as before!).
- Going on walks in the stroller.
- Car rides.
- Hanging out in the ErgoBaby (it's like instant calming action - best money we have spent!).
- Playing on her play mat (she really just likes the music and lights, and when Mommy or Daddy is shaking a rattle for her...)
- The mobile over her changing table.
- Music (pretty much any type, though she prefers 80s music, orchestra music, and Mommy's singing).
- Sitting forward and bouncing on Mommy/Daddy's knee (she has become so observant!)
- Being a "space baby" (I'll let Mike explain this one...).
- Swinging.
- Riding Mason with Daddy's help.

Dislikes:
- Dirty diapers.
- 6pm-8pm on most nights.
- Not being the center of attention...
- Sitting still.

Skills:
- Rolling! (Still only rolling to the right when she is on her tummy).
- Smiling purposefully (it's amazing!!).
- Lifting her head while doing tummy time.
- Cooing.
- Making eye contact.
- Taking in her surroundings.
- Briefly holding a rattle when Mommy or Daddy puts it in her hand.
- Explosive poops.

Two-month milestones:
- Rolled for the first time!
- Watched the San Francisco Giants capture the World Series!
- Graduated to size 1 diapers.
- Now officially out of newborn clothes...
- First trip down to the yurt (though we didn't make it through the night...).

The past month has been both difficult and rewarding.  Evra has definitely been going through a colicky phase, which has been trying for both Mike and I; however, all the difficult times are wiped away when she looks us in the eyes and smiles her precious, full-faced smile.  It's by far the most incredible experience I have ever had.  Evra has become more interactive, more playful, and even more fun over the past month.  Each day I find myself staring in her adorable little face (with the fat cheeks, which Mike and I make fun of and ask her how many acorns she is storing up for winter...), finding it hard to believe that we have been so blessed to have such an amazing little daughter in our lives.  The past month has been amazing, and we are so excited for all of the adventures yet to come!
