During her time in Columbus, Evra was lucky enough to celebrate her birthday with her extended family!  Super excited to get to spend some time with her GG!

For her birthday gift, Daddy bought Evra (and himself!) matching Manchester City jerseys to cheer on "their" favorite soccer team.

Cupcakes! (9.11.15)

Grandma brought cupcakes to help celebrate Evra's birthday!  Unfortunately, Evra was so tired from the lack of sleep on the plane and the jetlag that she wasn't really in to the cupcakes...

At the end, Evra started to get in to the cupcake.  But she still only had a couple small bites.

Happy one year, Evra!! (9.10.15)

Today Evra celebrated her first birthday!  One whole year.  Twelve months.  Fifty-two weeks.  Three hundred and sixty-five days.  (That's as far as my math goes...).  Time flies.  I can't believe our "baby" is already one year old.  She has brought so much joy and love to our lives; it is indescribable.  We have so many incredible memories from the first year, and we can't wait to make any more.  So happy first birthday, sweet, wonderful, loving, adorable Evra!  We love you to the moon and back!!!

Likes:

- Playing with her toys.

- Reading books with Mommy and Daddy (well, she prefers to just turn the pages as we attempt to read to her, but it's a start!).

- Eating food - any kind of food!  She is such a good little eater!!!

- Scooting from one place to another (she is not yet crawling, but almost there!)

- Bath time.

Dislikes:

- Being hungry.

- Being tired.

- Diaper changes are getting more and more difficult...

Evra's favorites:

- Word: "Nana."  Not sure what it means, though.  It's a combination of "no," "I want that," "take me there," "banana," and anything else that Evra wants it to mean at the time...

- Food: Probably bananas.  But she will eat pretty much anything.  And, surprisingly, she is more of a fan of protein that carbohydrates...

- Toy: Lovie.  Duh.  But she is also very skilled at stacking rings and pop-up dinos...

Skills:

- Talking up a storm.

- Scooting around.

- Feeding herself.  She wants no help, whatsoever.

- Completely off the bottle.  Woohoo!  Go Evra!!

- Not sitting still for more than two seconds at a time...

- Clapping and giving high-fives.

- Rocking the curly, red afro.  Evra's got some crazy hair...

Twelve-month milestones:

- Turning one year old!!

- Evra got her first teeth!  The lower central incisors started coming in a couple weeks ago...
