Happy nine month, Evra! (6.10.15)

Today Evra turned nine months old.  Three-quarters of a year.  It's incredible how fast time is going by and how fast Evra is growing and changing!  Happy nine month, sweet girl!  We love you with all our heart(s)!

Likes:
- Running with Mommy and Daddy.
- Hanging out outside.
- Eating food!

- Bath time.

- Reading books.
- Listening to music and attempting to sing along.  It's so entertaining...

Dislikes:
- Poopy diapers.
- Being tired.

Evra's favorites!
- Word: At this age, she prefers to growl...  But she is saying lots of various sounds, such as "yaya, gaga, and baba."
- Food: Yogurt.  She can't get enough!
- Toy: Lovie.  Though some of her bath toys come in at a close second.  And she is starting to love books, as well!

Skills:
- Sitting up very nicely on her own.
- Using her pincer grasp like the smart little girl she is!  Her fine motor skills are coming along very nicely!

- Smiling and giggling.  Is there anything better?!?!
- Clapping!
- Making "raspberries"/fart noises with her mouth.  It's hysterical...

Nine month milestones:

- Learning to use her pincer grasp.
- Started eating "real" solid foods!

- Learning to clap.

Learning to roll the ball! (6.9.15)

It was a hot day today, so Evra and I spent most of the afternoon in front of the fan (which was quite fun for Evra!).

When she wasn't fully entertained by the oscillating fan, Evra was showing off her new skill - rolling the ball!  So fun!

Evra and Mace hanging out together in the front yard!  It's tough not to enjoy the beautiful California weather.  But, as you can tell from the state of our front "yard," the drought has hit us pretty hard... That's ok; both of our "babies" still enjoy spending time out there!  Not sure who enjoys the blanket more, though...

Our little cook! (6.3.15)

Evra has taken to playing with (well, actually, she tries to eat) the cooking utensils while we are in the kitchen.  Maybe we have a budding chef on our hands?!?

Avocado! (6.2.15)

Evra trying out her "trough" bib and finger-sized pieces of avocado.  She wasn't as big a fan of avocado as the scrambled eggs, but she gave it a shot!

Despite the fact that Evra's changing table used to be her "happy place," she seems to get fussy with diaper changes now.  I think it's because she wants to be sitting up and looking around.  But I found a nice distraction today.  Don't worry, it's clean...
