Evra's first cold... (1.9.15)

Thanks to some amazing and patient women at daycare (thanks Vanessa and Johanna!), Evra is finally taking a bottle and seems to be taking to daycare quite well.  It's tough being away from her during the day, but it makes it better knowing that she is having a good time and is not starving during the day. Plus, she's still sleeping well at night (meaning she is eating enough during the day!), which makes for a much happier Mommy come morning time...

On the negative side of daycare, Evra got her first cold this week.  We've been battling it with a humidifier, saline drops, and the ever-so-wonderful-yet-sounds-like-I'm-torturing-my-baby NoseFrida snot-sucker. Through all of this, Evra has been a relatively happy, yet snotty, trooper.

Taggie fun! (1.6.14)

Despite trying out almost every single toy in her toy chest, Evra is not very interested in playing with many toys at her age (to be expected, but we can hope!).  However, we recently introduced her to her Taggie, and she seems to be able to hold on and get it to her mouth, which she thinks is the best! Special thanks to Tracy, Ron, Grace, and Claire for the present!

Playing piano with Daddy! (1.4.15)

Evra is smiling like a champion these days, and screaming much less often. Hence, she and Mason have been getting along much better. With some prompting, Mason will often give Evra a kiss, and then, because she tastes so sweet, he will continue kissing her until we "call off the dog."

Basically, they love each other a lot.

Daddy dressed me today... (1.3.14)

Evra is very talented, and managed to poop out of her diaper and completely up her back.  And she had on such a cute outfit beforehand!  So Daddy dressed her afterwards.  The final outfit was amazing...

Mommy's first day back at work... (1.2.15)

Because Evra still vehemently refuses to take a bottle, and daycare does not start until Monday, Evra and Daddy spent most of Mommy's first day back at work at her office.  It definitely made the transition back to work much easier, knowing these two were right next door!!!  Too bad they can't hang out with me every day...
